Maria Antoniadou, PhD, University of Athens, Greece
Dr Maria Antoniadou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Dentistry, School of Health Sciences, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Certified Systemic Analyst Professional (CSAP) with the executive mastering program in systemic management, for the University of Piraeus. Her research interests include dental and patient coaching (especially geriatric and other disadvantaged population groups), dental management, marketing, and sustainability issues in dentistry. She has completed the "Coaching-AC Accredited" programs (for certification by the European Association for Coaching Organization) and the "Coaching-Skills and Practice" accredited program (for certification by ICF-International Coaching Federation). Dr Carlos Jurado is an associate professor in prosthodontics and operative dentistry in the USA. He recently joined the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as director of the Operative Dentistry Division. He is an authoritative figure in dental education who brings a wealth of expertise from international and advanced residencies in Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry from UCLA and USC, and a Prosthodontics residency from UAB. Dr Steven Mulligan is a practicing dental practitioner, clinical teacher, and researcher in the area of sustainable oral healthcare. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed published articles examining various aspects of sustainability including the environmental impacts of dental materials, single-use plastics, and incorporating environmental sustainability into dental curricula. He is a founding member of the FDI World Dental Federation’s Sustainability in Oral Healthcare Task Team, which aims to increase awareness of the need to implement sustainable actions in the dental community and provide guidance and toolkits to enable this. Through working as a key opinion leader with various industry partners, Dr Mulligan co-authored the ratified Consensus Statement on Sustainable Oral Healthcare.
