An article collection published in the Thrombosis Journal
The “Uncharted Waters” series focuses on the less well-studied forms of thrombosis. We believe that knowledge of the rare and unusual forms of thrombosis increases our understanding of the ordinary, and when these areas remain understudied it is a loss for all thrombosis researchers.
The series also aims to collect the state-of-the-art information on diagnosis, causation, treatment and long-term prediction that currently exists in the community but is not yet collected in one place. We intend to provide our readers with a comprehensive overview of some of the most poorly understood forms of thrombosis - a guide to navigating the uncharted waters.
