Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by fungi that widely occur in various agricultural products. Currently, over 500 mycotoxins have been identified. Generally, aflatoxin B1, deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, ochratoxin A and fumonisin B1 are the main mycotoxins that contaminate animal feed. These mycotoxins can seriously endanger the health and performance of livestock and poultry, and the quality and safety of their products. Understanding the toxicity, developing accurate and practical analytical technologies, as well as developing decontamination strategies for mycotoxins will enhance our ability to control mycotoxins in animal feed. Therefore, this special issue is devoted to collect reviews that focus on the recent advances in the related research fields.
