BMC Zoology called for submissions to our Collection on marine biodiversity loss. Marine biodiversity is in significant decline, threatening ecosystem health and the livelihood of approximately 3 billion people, who rely on the ocean for food, energy and water. Human activities are the main drivers of ecosystem disruptions and the detrimental loss of marine biodiversity worldwide. This Collection welcomed research on human-induced challenges impacting marine animals.
This collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 14: Life below water.
