BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth is calling for submissions to our Collection on Digital tools for maternal health and wellness.
This Collection aims to bring together the latest advances and research findings in the integration of digital health technologies that are transforming the landscape of maternal healthcare, pregnancy monitoring, and obstetric outcomes. Maternal health and wellness are critical facets of public health and healthcare systems worldwide. While significant progress has been made in recent decades to reduce maternal mortality and improve obstetric outcomes, challenges persist. Digital solutions have emerged as powerful tools to transform the landscape of maternal healthcare. Digital health technologies, encompassing mobile health (mHealth), eHealth, wearable devices, telemedicine, and data analytics, offer unprecedented opportunities to address these challenges comprehensively.
This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 5: Gender Equity.
