BMC Digital Health is calling for submissions to our Collection, Digital health data privacy, security and trust.
The rapid growth of technology in the healthcare industry, along with the utilization of big data analytics have created opportunities to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. However, they also raise significant concerns regarding data privacy, security and trust. Safeguarding digital health data is crucial to maintain patient confidentiality, protect against data breaches, and establish trust among stakeholders, for example healthcare professionals and patients. This call for papers invites researchers and practitioners to contribute their insights, findings, and solutions to address the challenges and enhance data privacy, security, and trust in digital health.
We invite submissions on various topics focusing on digital health data privacy, security and trust. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Ethics and public perception of data privacy in digital health
- Emerging technologies and tools for enhancing data privacy and security in digital health
- The role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in analyzing health data while maintaining privacy and security
- Building knowledge infrastructures to facilitate private data sharing
- Real-world applications of successful approaches to data privacy, security and trust
