Yunna Kim, MD, PhD, Kyung Hee University Medical Center, Republic of Korea
Dr Yunna Kim is a board-certified neuropsychiatrist and a clinical assistant professor at the Department of Neuropsychiatry at Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital. She is renowned for her research on the effect of Korean medicine on neuropsychiatric diseases, specifically in neuroinflammation within diseases like Alzheimer's and depression. Dr Kim has made significant contributions through numerous scientific publications, focusing on herbal medicine, acupuncture, and non-pharmacological approaches, spanning studies from preclinical to clinical studies. In recognition of her academic contributions, she recently received 'Integrative Talent Award in Korean Medicine' from the Association of Women Doctors in Korean Medicine in 2023.
Wenda Xue, PhD, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China
Wenda Xue is a researcher at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China. He is engaged in research on the occurrence, prevention, and treatment of depression in adults and adolescents, rapid and lasting antidepressant mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine, and its biological and neurological mechanisms. He has also conducted studies on common comorbidities of depression, such as anxiety disorders and cognitive impairment.
