Veterinary Oncology is calling for submissions to our Collection on 'Artificial intelligence and informatics in veterinary oncology.' This collection aims to showcase innovative research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and veterinary medicine, with a specific focus on how these tools are being utilized in the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome prediction for patients with cancer.
We welcome contributions that explore machine learning, data analytics, radiomics, pathomics, and other informatic pipelines in the context of veterinary oncology. We also welcome papers with a sociological perspective. This could include papers on how the use of AI/informatics might change practice; the ethics of AI in veterinary oncology (bias, responsible use, governance); and the use of digital tools to support clinical teams and clinical trials.
The collection aims to advance the field with cutting-edge research that harnesses these rapidly-evolving technologies to improve cancer care for animals.
